Many people have heard of mobile advertising and have probably even experienced it on their cell phones. Mobile phones are becoming a great tool for business owners to reach consumers. This advertising method will quickly become the number one method because of all of the people that have cell phones. Most people carry their phones with them wherever they go, which means that you can easily reach them because when they get a message they will automatically look at it.
The way that this advertising is done is with image ads being sent to a mobile phone. Each of the images that go to cell phones will be linked to a mobile web page, it will also be keyword targeted. When you want to use this marketing method you will be paying a price based on a cost per click basis. Now, Jared Lansky wants you to understand the advantages to mobile advertising like he does. So, here are some of the different advantages you need to know.
One: When a mobile image ad is sent to cell phones, these ads can be used as branding tools for advertisers.
Two: These ads have been shown to have a good click through rate, which all business owners know how hard it can be to get people to read your advertisements. With cell phones this isn’t as hard to accomplish because people automatically look at an ad when they get a message on their phone.
Three: There will only be one image ad per page, which means that only one ad will be sent to each phone. This helps to ensure that your advertising will be seen instead of ignored for another company’s ad.
Four: Publishers will have added flexibility also because they have a choice as to what they advertise with. They can either use image ads, text ads or they can even use both if they want.
Five: Mobile advertising gives you a more effective and personal way to interact with consumers.
These are just a few of the many advantages to using mobile advertising. There are others that you will want to learn about. You can easily do this by researching it online, just be sure you check to see what Jared Lansky has to say about it because he understands this method of advertising and how important it could be for your future success. So, start learning all you can about this today.

How To Avoid Red Eye With Your Digital Camera
By Jared Lansky | May 25, 2008
By: Guest Editor
There is nothing worse than taking a beautiful picture only to find out the people have red eye. While many editing software can eliminate the red eye for you, it is nice to take a quality picture without having to change a thing. Jared Lansky wants you to know there are some things you can do to eliminate this problem.
Before knowing how to avoid it, shouldn’t you know what causes it? Red eye is caused by you taking a picture of someone with the flash on. The intense light that is let out hits the retina of the person’s eye thus illuminating the blood cells too quickly. This makes it so the iris of the eye cannot close down in time.
While it is fairly difficult to eliminate this problem because the flash is built so close to the lens, Jared Lansky says there are some things you can do. Obviously, the easiest way to eliminate this problem is to not use the flash. If you do not have enough light, this creates a problem. But you might as well take one with the flash and one without just to see what happens.
If you absolutely have to use the flash, move in closer to the subject. It may seem crazy, but the red eye effects tend to get worse the further away you move. This does not mean move right next to the person because if you are too close the features will become distorted. But try to stay within eight feet of the person for better results.
Another tip that not everyone is willing to do is have your subject look slightly to the left or the right of the camera. The digital camera will pick up the red eye most when the eyes are looking directly at the camera. By getting the person to look slightly away from the camera you can reduce the effects.
Not everyone is willing to take a picture like this because most people want the subject looking directly at the camera. If this is the case, you can use an external flash. What this does is eliminate the direct reflection problem altogether. For this method, you do have to carry around a small hand held flash unit, but it can drastically effect the picture for the better.
While there are a few more techniques you can use to eliminate red eye with your digital camera, these are some of the best according to Jared Lansky. And to capture the moment perfectly, the last thing you want is a roll full of red eye pictures.

Have You Considered Free Online Advertising?
By Jared Lansky | May 20, 2008

Online advertising seems to confuse a lot of people in our world today and the most misunderstood thing about online advertising has to be the cost. Jared Lansky wants people to know that there is such a thing as free online advertising out there. With more than thirty five million potential customers online, why not give free advertisements a try.
It is hard to think of a place in this world today that lets you advertise twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, and for free. The reason for this is because there is nowhere else.
What kind of free online advertising is available today? Well Jared Lansky knows quite a few. A lot of people and companies believe the only free advertising on the internet is those free classified ad sites that actually exist on the internet. A recent survey indicated that there may be as much as three hundred plus places to actually advertise for free, without spamming.
Free advertising types used by Jared Lansky include free classified ads sites, appropriate newsgroups, search engines, your signature file, free link sites, reciprocal link sites, link exchanges, and press releases.
Most link sites and free classified ad sites are sponsored by individuals or companies. They have created the sites for the purpose of generating leads to help them promote their product or service. Also, it does take time to place these advertisements and you are usually required to provide more personal information such as your name, e-mail, phone number ext. Sometimes they will limit the ads to two weeks, but for the most part they are up for as much as thirty to sixty days.
Newsgroup postings are free, but do not spam or it will cost time and money and your service provider may disconnect your service. The downside to newsgroup postings is that your advertisement might not standout; so it is nice to post your ad using a lot of different headlines. Newsgroup postings are also a great way to test an ad before paying for print advertising.
For the most part Jared Lansky wants to open the eyes of small website holders and businesses to the availability of free internet advertising. It is all over the place and for the most part very simple to do. It is an easy way to create trafficking without wasting money. Just remember there are over thirty five million potential customers on the web.

Applying This One Easy Principle Can Change Your Life!
By Jared Lansky | March 29, 2008
Author: Linda Watson
Most people want to be successful in life. Success can be defined in many ways and varies with each individual.
There are many key factors that play an important role in your success but in my opinion without this first important step you are at an extreme disadvantage.
You may be surprised that most people tend to overlook this.
In order for you to achieve your goal of being successful you must first know your own personal definition of what success means for you.
It could be something as simple as becoming a better parent or a better spouse. Do you want to become a better employee? Do you have a habit you want to break? Maybe you want financial freedom.
Whatever the case may be the most important thing is to look inside yourself and decide what is important to you personally.
It is important to take your time with this and really know your own heart for it will take some hard work and dedication to achieve the highest level possible.
It’s more than likely there will be many obstacles along the way that will require dedication and determination to overcome them however the rewards that you will reap will be well worth the effort.
In my case I already had a burning desire in my heart that I knew brought me the most enjoyment and peace in my life. For me,this was an inner calling that just came naturally but for many years I felt like I wasn’t doing enough to feed this strong desire and truly make a difference.
This led to a very unfulfilling life. One of just merely existing and not making a difference in people lives which is what I know I am called to do.
It is important to be able to clearly define what it is that will define success for you as an individual.
Here are some tips to help you get started on your journey.
What is your vision of the way you want your future to be? For some of you this may take some thought and there are others who will already know the answer to this question but never have taken any steps to make it happen.
If you were to set out in the morning to walk a few blocks to the corner store to get a cup of coffee, would you slap a blindfold around your eyes and proceed to walk out the door? You wouldn’t get to far if you did.
I want you to think of a lack of vision as being your blindfold to achieving true success!
My philosophy in life is grounded in biblical principles. This is one of those areas. It is said that “Without A Vision My People Perish.”
I am confident that upon taking this first step and realizing your vision, you will immediately start to sense a change from within and with each challenge you overcome and every victory you achieve it will create a snowball effect that will help you reach higher and higher.

How Anyone Can Become Successful
By Jared Lansky | February 10, 2008
Author: Jeff Schuman
Every person in the world wants to become successful, but many don’t have the right attitude or motivation to accomplish this. Becoming successful is not a walk in the park, it takes time and effort. However, if you follow some certain guidelines and have the dedication to become something, then more often than not you will become successful.
Everyone has their own definition of what success actually is. The first two definitions of successful in the dictionary are “having a favorable outcome” and “having obtained something desired or intended.” So becoming the richest man in the world would be considered becoming successful to some, but not everyone. As long as you strive to be the best in whatever you want to be and then you accomplish this goal, you have become successful. How to be successful is the question that many want to know. So read on and start taking notes on how to be successful.
You must have written goals and plans to start so that you know what you want. Plus, by writing down goals you can go back to the sheet and see what you want to succeed in and use it as a motivator.
Be patient to start. You will not become successful in the first week or two of whatever you are doing. It may even take several months or years to fully accomplish the feat you are battling. You will have to work the hardest in the beginning to get it started with little in return which can be discouraging, but if you continue the hard work the reward will come later.
It is important to think big but realistic at the same time. There is no point in setting an easily attainable goal because you are limiting your abilities. However, if you shoot for the highest star possible you will often fail and this will discourage you of trying other things.
Put together a weekly plan on how you will enhance whatever you are trying to become successful in. Once you fail to put in the effort and stick to the plan, you have failed to become what you want. By following a written plan, you now owe it to yourself
to finish the list.
Don’t let the little problems get you frustrated. There will be many changes and obstacles that you will have to deal with along the way, both big and small, but keeping focused on the goal is important. By taking time to focus and come up with a rational
solution to the problems, you will be that much closer to becoming successful.
Continue to be positive throughout your hard work. Once you turn into a negative thinker, you get closer and closer to quitting on yourself. The only true way to fail is to give up. “You are what you think you are,” so if you believe in yourself and what you’re capable of doing then you will become that.
There are several things that it will take to become successful, but these are some of the key points on how to be successful. Be motivated and determined, and you will be that much closer to your goal.

Six Secrets to Happiness
By Jared Lansky | October 11, 2007
Author: Lynne Kaska
Have you ever thought that you could have more, be more and do more? Have you ever wondered what it would take to really have a successful life? What if you could have the life of your dreams?
Happiness is just within your reach. It’s just on the other side of the gnawing fear. It’s just on the other side of that self-defeating game that you keep on playing. The question is how do we get “there” from “here.” The question is what do you have to do?The first secret to happiness that I have found is in identifying what makes you truly happy. It’s a difficult task to do especially if you really do this from your heart, not what your head tells you. I discovered when I went through this process that the things that I want are not like what anyone else wants for me. I had to discover what I want and let go of old ideas and pleasing other people. For me, happiness means that I walk down the sidewalk with my head held high because I know that I am right with God or a Higher Being. Happiness means that I’m not held back by all the garbage in my past. Happiness is feeling like I have a purpose and living my life with passion and vibrancy.
What is it that you really want in life? Do you want a stronger relationship with your spouse/partner? Do you want a more fulfilling career? Do you want to be able to sleep at night without any chatter in your head? Is your true desire to just want to get out of bed in the morning and embrace the day for what it is? Do you want to have a strong faith and put aside all fear and live life to the fullest? Read the rest of this entry »
